Shopcoin Value, explained.

A reference point to help you think about a price. Not a price tag, and not a promise.

What it is

Shopcoin Value is a reference estimate for an exact card and condition: the median of eligible, completed Shopcoin sales from the last 90 days. Repeat sales between the same two accounts count once, and at least 3 distinct buyer and seller pairs are needed.

Without enough sales we show a current PriceCharting quote, labelled as a third-party guide figure, not individual sales. Raw quotes are not condition-adjusted, and grades PriceCharting does not support stay unknown. Full method

Not a guaranteeNo one is committed to buy or sell at this number, including Shopcoin.
Not investment adviceCard prices go up and down. Don't treat this as a forecast or a reason to buy.
Raw and graded cards differA raw (ungraded) card and graded copies of the same card can have very different values. Different grades and grading companies differ too. Check which version an estimate refers to.
Condition mattersAn estimate can't see the card in front of you. Wear, centering and print quality change what it's worth.

What we don't do

We don't count listings, asking prices or bids as sales. Daily history starts when tracking began and is never backfilled; missing days stay blank. Where an estimate isn't available, we say so instead of filling in a number.
